Doug Petkanics is a co-founder of Livepeer and the CEO of Livepeer Inc.
Before Livepeer he co-founded Hyperpublic, a local data startup acquired by Groupon in 2012, and then Wildcard, leading engineering at both.
He started Livepeer with Eric Tang in 2017 to build open infrastructure for video, run by a network of independent GPU operators rather than a single cloud. He has since led its move into AI video, and now works with the community on Livepeer 2.0, the next version of the protocol.
